Ernest Dillon FBHS

Ernest is one of the country’s most respected coaches.  He conducts clinics worldwide and throughout the UK.

Ernest is highly qualified being one of the few Show Jumping Specialist Fellows of the British Horse Society.  

He is a UKCC Level Three Showjumping Coach and an Accredited BS Coach.  He is also a British Eventing Master Coach and a UKCC Coach Educater.

Ernest is the author of the extremely successful book; ‘THE COMPLETE SHOWJUMPER’ – a training manual containing lots of high quality photographs, sound bites and detailed training advice.

Sam york

Sam York FBHS

Sam York is a UKCC Level 3, and British Eventing Accredited Coach, Under 18 BE coach, a Nottinghamshire Education and Training Coordinator, Trustee for the British Horse Society and has held a position as Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University, specialising in sport horse production and coaching.

Sam has selected, produced and ridden horses up to Advanced, three star level for eventing, and medium level dressage competitions.

Sam has represented GB at the British Riding Club European Championships and has ridden on many national equestrian teams throughout her professional equestrian career.

Sam is becoming a leading inspiration to the future of coaching and coach development as well as a leading practitioner in acceleration the learning process in equestrian athletes.

Dr. Graham Cross

Avansce was founded by Dr. Graham Cross who is the lead innovator for the Neue Schule range of bits and who developed the core curriculum for the Neue Schule Academy. It was through the research for the Academy that Graham recognised the huge potential for applying advanced signal processing algorithms to rein tension data.

Graham is a regular guest speaker at equestrian colleges across the UK and has contributed to panel discussions organised by the British Horse Society and Gillian Higgins’ Horses Inside Outconference. Graham holds over 100 scientific papers and patents and has held a tenured academic position at the University of Durham since 1990. Graham owns and rides Fils de Figaro (Victor) by the Oldenburg foundation stallion Figaro.


Géraldine Vandevenne

Géraldine is an equine dental technician with a passion for horses and the correct fitting of the bit and bridle. She also holds qualifications in saddle fitting and osteopathy in addition to bit fitting. Geraldine is pioneering the use of technological methods of diagnosis in fitting of bits and bridles. She has founded the Association of Professional Bit Fitters in France.
